Awesome event to take place on 19th March 2016


TPDA in conjunction with the Black Scientists & Inventors & BIS Publication's team present “The African Origin of Technology”on Saturday 19th March as part of British Science week.

Authors of the ground-breaking book 'Black Scientists & Inventors in the UK: Millenniums of Inventions & Innovations' Michael Williams and Manyonyi Amalemba intend to show that Africans were the first nerds by presenting evidence that technology whether ancient or modern, has its roots in Africa amongst Africans.

They will also show how African technologies have given birth to the sciences and technologies that people all around the world use today. This is an event that can not be missed.
